Speaker 1: Today on our 2012 Chevrolet Silverado, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains. The tire size we're going to be working with is 275/55/20. A couple of the features I really like about this set of tire chains is that they're very quick and easy to install thanks to our color-coded system right here. They're also self tensioning, meaning we don't have to purchase anything extra such as a rubber adapter to put on and make sure our chain stays snug to our tire. It's all going to be contained right here. These chains feature a diamond pattern rather than a ladder pattern, and that's going to give you more coverage around your tire and thus providing more traction while we're driving through snow and ice. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2013 Chevrolet Silverado, we'll be taking a look at and showing you how to install Glacier Twist-Link Snow Tire Chains with Cam Tighteners, part number PWH3227SC.Now keep in mind that we're using this with tire size 265 65 R18. These tire chains are going to be perfect for high flotation, super-single and wide-base-rim tires.The rounded twist links are going to provide extra traction in snow and ice and form cross chains, which then form a ladder pattern which will assist with effective starts and stops. These are designed for highway use only and have included cam tighteners, which when secured down give us a nice fit without the need of an additional rubber tensioner.The Glacier tire chains are going to work on either front or rear-wheel-drive tires. We do have it on the rear wheels today since our vehicle is mostly driven by the rear axle. They're also going to come in a quantity of two and be quick and easy to install. Now keep in mind we're using this with tire size: 265/65R18.These V-Bar style chains are going to give excellent grip in snow and ice. The studded twist links are going to form cross chains that will assisted effective starts and stops as a ladder pattern. The built-in cam tightener are going to give us a nice secure fit without the need of an additional rubber tensioner. These Titan Snow Tire chains feature a diamond pattern rather than a ladder pattern. They're going to provide you with more tire coverage which means more traction. The square links are going to give you excellent traction and stopping power on ice. Since they're smaller than your average links, they're going to be a lot smoother on the road. Most chains require a rubber adjuster or an additional part to help keep them tight and snug around the tire. The integrated adjuster eliminates the need. more

Today on this 2009 Chevrolet Silverado, we're going to show you the Glacier Snow Tire Chains, part number PW3027C. With this part number, you get two snow chains, one for each side of a truck. This is what the snow chains look like when they're installed on a tire. In this case, we're actually working with a tire size of 265 by 70 by 17. All right, let's go ahead and take a closer look at it. This is what's called a cross bar right here, and we'll go ahead see that it's actually a construction of cables, but it actually has coils wrapped around the cable itself. These will move around and shift as needed on a tire as well as to go ahead and get some grip on your snow and ice. Now, the cable design is actually used in the entire construction of the snow chain, so this is definitely designed for light duty or occasional use. more

Today on our 2010 Chevrolet Silverado crewcab, we're going to install part number PWH222ASC. This is the Glacier twist-link snow tire chains with the cam tighteners. One other thing to know about our snow chains is that you get 2 chains for each part number. While this won't be a permanent install, it's a good idea to go ahead and try them out before you need them in the cold and snow. We got our chain laid out. You want to make sure you have it facing the right way with the truck. First off, these parts here are the cam tighteners. These will be on the outside of the truck. more

Today on our 2013 Chevrolet Silverado, we'll be test fitting the Glacier Snow Cables, part number PW3027C. Now, our vehicle is equipped with 265/70-17 tires. Make sure you check your owner's manual for further instructions about the use of tire chain and traction products. We'll go ahead and lay out our chain flat. We do want to make sure that the hooks of crossed pieces are facing out so that they won't bite into or damage your tires. There's a tag on the chain that will indicate whether it needs to go on the left hand side of the vehicle or the right hand side and it will also show which direction they need to rotate in. more

Glacier Square-Link Snow Tire Chains Review - 2013 Chevrolet Silverado- Video
Today on our 2013 Chevy Silverado, we'll be installing the Glacier Chains, part number PW82328SLC. Our first step would be laying the chain now. We'll make sure we get all the kinks and twists out of the chain from being stored in the back. Now with our chain laid out, let's go ahead and go over some of the functions. First, we'll identify the inside chain hook and chain end that will hook into this on the inside of the tire. Next, we have the J hook that will be on the outside of the tire we use as tensioner and chain shortenaer so you can tighten up the chain. more
